Arrogant Trumpet

Life, short or long, moans and hones on various skills,
And dreams to wake up from the crystal beds of dew-
Like the flaring green oaks in the big thickets,
Dazzled against the copper sun to create a view!
Dust-dance of unpaved road draws a calligraphy in air,
But the throbbing thunders light up the midnight sky-
Our life bathes in the slanted rains in a hurry,
And begins to hide quickly behind the passersby!
Life resembles the adamant tones of an arrogant trumpet,
And argues with twisted tongue, prisoned between jaw and lips-
At times, it does rise like the whirling puffs of flame,
And sketch the wings of hornets with a beauty of flips!
Chanting voices of panting moments climb the terraces of life,
Mooring and touring happily through the waves of brittle time-
While the tawny gold of morning seems to chatter and smile,
And the evening dives in somnolence with church bell hymn!
Violin of life tatters with rowdy horses’ neigh,
But the trombone emanates digging of bones-
In a rush, the fruits of confection and infection sink in,
And a perplexed voice, out of horror, changes its tones!
The blue steel blades of water from the river of life
Sway in the green-gold sun of the early morning-
But the dauntless arrogant trumpet begins to shout
With a shrill to let the deaf ears dwell in scorning!!
