“Hillorious” Jargons

Consummate heaven, beyond all thoughts and speeches,

Even today tries to unfold at this critical but perfect time-

With the arrival of “Delta Variant” and Covid-19,

And a writing on the wall forecasts with a chime!

Strings of unlucky strife love to make us think

About happiness of wings and freedom to enfold-

But the soft music with a melody in life’s repertoires

Dribbles on its own until the puppeteer is politely told!

Mount of bliss expands its own battles to win,

And wants at least one vision to fulfill in life-

But weakness may pierce the hands of humanity,

And the hegemonic powers will cause the strife!

Little hearts that burn or break in silence

Entice somnolent emotion without an end-

But the poetic hearts dance on their rhymes,

Along with songs with a mission not to bend!

Dreams of dusts draw the calligraphy of dunes,

And a mirage in the deserts tantalizes the thirst-

Perchance the sunsets, streams, and drifting clouds

Will begin to argue who to get the priority first!

Laughing eyes, on small adventures in thickets,

Reluctantly hide and lure the perils in the dark-

But the bright rainbows play hide and seek,

While the deserted greyhounds begin to bark!

Taste of death and love descends on every life,

And there’s no exception to this universal rule-

But the immortal breaths will always be sought,

To enjoy a happy world even by a hilarious fool!!

How Many of You?

How many of you love me

With love, false or true-

Each morning I wonder

When coffee starts to brew!

How many of you think

From life, how or when love fled-

Moments of truce never came

And the heart has simply bled?

How many of you

Like to possess a pilgrim soul?

And love your spouse like a devil,

Or hid the sorrowed face as the toll!

How many of you take love easy

And allow to let it bloom and grow-

No doubt, time and tide will be flowing by,

But the pendulum always swings to and fro!

Hopeful Words

Storm-chased cloud followed me from childhood,

And tightly fastened my eyes till I became a man-

They still make me shudder in tremulous horrors,

Before the breath of disabling nights possibly can!

A few converging situations tempted in vain,

And did exploit my thoughts within thought-

Amidst the dearth of endowed spooky spirit,

While my somnolent resources began to rot!

Unseized moments like to roam around my heart

To thwart the secret holy blessings from the God-

And I fail too often, or jail my cocooned emotions,

Even before or under Him to get His precious nod!

His hopeful words silently bend with smiles,

But I forget my devotion suddenly in a rush-

And my strides begin to seek virgin woods,

But they often try to caution me well in hush!

Enchanting ocean of thoughts on my life's locomotion

Brought me down many times to wake me up to know-

The approach of a tide-worn rolling rock

With my missing sandals buried in snow!

Hoarse and fierce waves gnaw the rickety spirits

Behind the rocky hills to bring tranquility in sky-

And I begin to sob, kneel, and suck the sullen block,

As witnessed by the straddled eyes of the passersby!

Unkind disease like Covid-19 now plays tug of war

Between the births and deaths to carry on her tasks-

And the wind dapples with apples in arrogant fear,

To tackle the debates on or not donning the masks!

The vague twilight comes into a foul play in Fall

To perplex my age-old baptized bewildered mind-

And bury the wind-torn shingles from my mental roof

Into lonely dunes and beaches, simply one of a kind!!
